The Playlist Connoisseur™ Card Game
Discover who creates best playlists by answering one simple question.
What songs are you LEAST likely to have on your playlist?
The objective of the game is for participants, referred to as Connoisseurs, to create the best 10-song playlist from genres such as Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, Dancehall & Reggae, and UK Garage. Over the course of 10 rounds, connoisseurs submit their favourite song cards and vote for the songs they are least likely to have on their playlists.
The Connoisseur with the lowest total vote score at the end of the game has submitted the best ten-card playlist and is declared the games winner.
Please note, the game is only accessible on a desktop or laptop. The game is not yet availible for mobile devices.

Playlist Connoisseur™
card game instructions
Step 1
Choose a card deck to play. Combining card decks is also an option.
Step 2
Choose one player to be the Dealer. The dealer is in charge of dealing, shuffling, collecting, and relocating song cards. Once everyone has agreed on the song card deck to use, place it to the left or right of the 'SUBMIT YOUR FAVOURITE SONG CARD' tile.
Step 3
Shuffle the card deck and deal fifteen cards to all players. Players must now choose their favourite ten song cards from the fifteen cards in their hand. Place the five song cards least preferred back into the deck.
Step 4
Everyone place one song card (preferrably their favourite) from the 10 cards in their hand, on the ‘SUBMIT YOUR FAVOURITE SONG CARD’ tile, face down.
Step 5
When all players have put their song card on the 'SUBMIT YOUR FAVOURITE SONG CARD' tile, the dealer shuffles the cards on the tile and then places one song card on each blank tile on the first row, face up. Players must not reveal their song cards to other players.
Step 6
Players place their vote tokens on the song card they least prefer to have on their playlist. Players can’t vote for their own song card. The song card(s) with the most tokens is considered the least preferred song that round. The song card(s) with the least votes is regarded as the most preferred.
Step 7
Players reveal their song card choice and discuss their reasons for their song card submission & voting.
Step 8
Players update their vote counters with the number of votes they received for their song card. Players place their song card on their playlist tile and collect their vote token (place it back by their vote counter).
Step 9
Start round two. All players should have nine song cards in their hand or four song cards if playing the free game. The dealer shuffles the main song card deck and deals one card from the deck to all players. Players decide if they prefer the song card received to a song in their hand. If they do, remove the least preferred card and place it on the deck. If not, put the song card last dealt by the dealer back into the deck. This process repeats at the start of every round until the end of the game.
Step 10
All players now select their favourite song card from their hand and put it on the ‘SUBMIT YOUR FAVOURITE SONG CARD’ tile. When all players have put their song card on the 'SUBMIT YOUR FAVOURITE SONG CARD' tile, the dealer shuffles the cards on the tile and reveals the cards as per the previous round (see step 5 and continue from there).
Step 11
Continue to play until no cards are left in players' hands (10 rounds in total). The player with the lowest score has created the best playlist as voted by all players and is crowned the 'Playlist Connoisseur'.
Tied Score? Knockout Round Rules
In the event of a tied vote, the players with the tied score enter into a knockout round. The players with the tied score, each take five cards from the deck (three cards if non-premium game). They then submit their favourite song of the five (or three) to the ‘submit your favourite song card’ tile. The dealer shuffles the cards and reveals the cards on the blank tiles, first row. All players place their vote token by the song card they least prefer to have on their playlist. The players that submitted the song cards to the table are prohibited from voting. The song card with the least number of votes is considered the best song and the player who submitted that card is crowned the winner of the game.
